Epica is a perfect liveaboard for budget-conscious travelers wanting to dive Raja Ampat. It offers a great dive experience for up to 12 guests, with six twin cabins located on the main deck, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze right from your room. There are two shared bathrooms with freshwater showers.
Each day, you’ll enjoy freshly prepared meals featuring a mix of Western and Indonesian dishes , served on the upper deck. This spacious area has bean bags and hammocks, making it a great place to relax, have a chat and enjoy the surroundings, especially during sunset.
Diving groups are kept small, with a maximum of four divers per guide , arranged by experience and certification level to ensure everyone has a great experience. Epica takes you to the best diving spots in Raja Ampat, including central area, north and Misool, where you’ll see amazing marine life, including sharks, manta rays, huge schools of reef fish and incredible macro life.
You’ll also have the chance to do some land activities , like trekking to the stunning Piaynemo viewpoint, visiting a local Papuan village or enjoying a beach sunset. Epica’s dive itineraries are ideal for those who just want to dive, eat, sleep and repeat, without the need of a fancier boat or high class food.

Yes, there are two additional charges:

No, there is no nitrox available on the Epica
The trip is suitable for all certified divers, including those with limited experience. However, some dives may have strong currents, so being comfortable in and having good buoyancy is necessary. Advanced Open Water certification and recent dive experience are ideal, especially for more challenging sites.
Yes, dietary restrictions can be accommodated with prior notice. Vegetarian, vegan, and other special diets are available—just let us know your needs in advance so the crew can prepare accordingly.
