Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and swaying palms, the resort feels like a private island hideaway. Only sixteen guests are hosted at a time, creating a cozy and social atmosphere where divers connect over shared meals, stories, and sunsets.
Each of the eight eco-bungalows is built from natural materials with local craftsmanship. Spacious verandas overlook the Pantar strait, offering privacy and panoramic ocean views. With natural ventilation and only optional AC, Alor Divers stays true to its environmentally conscious design while keeping guests cool with the sea breeze.

Diving is at the heart of Alor divers. Three guided boat dives are offered daily to explore the region’s spectacular coral reefs, pinnacles, and muck sites. Divers enjoy small groups, professional guides, and the luxury of being the only boat at each site.
Between dives, you can explore the resort’s house reef — a macro paradise stretching for hundreds of meters in both directions. From pygmy seahorses to frogfish and rare octopus, the diversity here is breathtaking, and night dives reveal even more hidden critters.
Committed to sustainability, Alor divers was built to blend harmoniously with nature. The resort minimizes waste, recycles, and uses brackish water for toilets to protect the island’s freshwater. Yes, the entrance ticket to Alor National Park must be paid on-site. The price is 1.000.000 IDR (around 60€) and is valid for one year.
Alor is reachable daily from Jakarta, or from Bali via Kupang (overnight needed). The resort provides airport transfers every Wednesday and Sunday. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by staff and transferred directly to the resort — all logistics are taken care of.
Diving is possible all year, but the best season runs from March to November when visibility is excellent and currents bring nutrient-rich waters. The resort is not operating from the end of December to mid-March for yearly maintenance.
