Kri Eco Resort is situated on Kri Island , a 90-minute boat ride from Sorong, on a beautiful beach with cottages extending over the sea. It was the first resort in Raja Ampat and it provides a tranquil escape into nature, just as it did on its opening day.
All cottages are built over the water in the traditional Papuan style using local materials to give you a true sense of location, without very fancy constructions but with the aim of letting each visitor experience the real Raja Ampat .
With three different room types to choose from, there is something for everyone, from Papuan and Superior cottages, both with shared bathroom, to the most comfortable Deluxe water cottages, with ensuite bathrooms. All of them with fans, 24-hour electricity, hot water, camera tables, and wifi.
The dive center provides guests with easy access to the best dive sites of the Dampier Strait , including Cape Kri, which is just meters away. They offer up to four guided boat dives a day, with optional night dives, and small group sizes with only three guests per guide. Saturdays are reserved as days off, with no guided diving, but guests can dive from the jetty on their own.
Papua Diving has focused on environmental conservation and supporting local communities for over 20 years, donating 10% of profits to local initiatives. Additionally, 90% of the resort staff are Papuans, directly promoting growth within Raja Ampat’s communities.
Dive packages start from 7 nights with 5 days of diving, which we consider the minimum to make the most of your trip. Please inquire about the exact duration of your stay or any personalized packages you’re interested in.
