Description

This 8-day / 7-night island-hopping cruise is one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to explore the remote Togean Islands. Starting and ending in Luwuk, the trip combines a scenic drive across Sulawesi with a relaxed boat journey through one of Indonesia’s most beautiful and untouched archipelagos.

Exploring the Togeans on your own often involves lengthy transfers and managing transport logistics. This cruise takes care of all the logistics—transfers, routes, and accommodation—so you can make the most of your time and visit a variety of islands without the usual delays or planning.

You’ll stay in small island resorts along the way, sleeping in simple beachfront bungalows with sea breezes, fans, and freshly cooked meals. Nights are spent on islands like Malenge, Walea, Kadidiri, Bomba or Una Una, depending on sea conditions and itinerary. Some days you’ll change location, others you’ll stay longer—it’s all arranged to give you the best experience.

During the day, you’ll cruise between islands on a comfortable boat, stopping to snorkel over coral reefs, paddle on a SUP board, relax on deserted beaches, and visit local villages. Scuba diving is available as an optional extra at selected spots, and can be arranged in advance.

With a flexible pace and everything taken care of, this trip is ideal for those who want to enjoy the nature, culture and seascapes of the Togean Islands—without the stress of figuring it out on their own.

At Karang Travel, we highly recommend the 8-day, 7-night safari cruise as the ideal way to experience the highlights of the Togean Islands. However, longer options are also available, including 10-day and 12-day cruises or private boat charters with fully customized itineraries.
