This 3-day / 2-night tour is a great way to explore Tangkoko National Park, Sulawesi’s most iconic wildlife reserve. Starting and ending in Manado, the trip takes you into lush forests and coastal landscapes, home to some of Indonesia’s most fascinating species.
You’ll stay in a local guesthouse close to the park entrance, surrounded by nature and local life. Guided by expert local spotters, you’ll explore the forest in the early mornings and late afternoons, the best times to encounter wildlife. Expect to see crested black macaques, colorful hornbills, the shy cuscus or kingfishers, and the highlight of the park—the tiny and beautiful tarsier.

We’ll pick you up in Manado and head straight to Tangkoko National Park. The car rides takes around 2 hours.
After checking in at your guesthouse near the park entrance, you’ll join your guide for an afternoon trek. This is the perfect time to spot wildlife like tarsiers and black macaques as the forest comes alive towards sunset.
Spend a full day exploring the forest with your guide, with both morning and afternoon treks to increase your chances of spotting rare species.
Between treks, relax at the guesthouse and enjoy local meals.
